We offer so many possibilities when it comes to “sober fun.” It’s hard for a recovering client to look at the eb and flow of life differently when they associate every social or personal act with drugs or alcohol. Many may think, simply, that the world feels boring. What is life all about in sobriety? We like to prove our clients wrong in their unhealthy thought process and open people up to the hobbies and love for life that they once had or once were interested in prior to consumption. We try to work with the individual uniquely to discover what their passion is and develop a time and a place for them to express it. Our Art therapy program has been a unique way for clients to showcase that.
Active therapies we provide are music therapy, art therapy, sound healing, fishing trips, meditation beach therapy, hikes, movie theater outings, equine therapy & horseback riding, volunteering for other organizations, Go-cart racing, gardening, restaurant outings, beach days, & house building for less fortunate families.
